At LTS, we design future-forward laboratories that merge compliance, innovation, and purpose — enabling smarter responses to health and environmental risks.
Appointed by G42 Healthcare, LTS led the design and specification of a new wastewater analysis laboratory in Abu Dhabi. The facility is designed to serve as a regional leader in monitoring and detecting chemical, biological, and lifestyle-related hazards. With BSL-2 and BSL-3 capabilities, AI-powered analysis, and automated sampling, this ±1,500 sqm facility is built to anticipate and act on potential health threats — before they escalate.
Challenge
High biosafety standards, complex equipment integration, automated sample handling, and AI-readiness all within a space that needed to be safe, scalable, and ready for rapid response to public health threats.
Approach
End-user workshops mapped operational flows and regulatory requirements. Detailed room data sheets, equipment specifications, and spatial calculations developed. Full documentation aligned with UAE regulations and international biosafety standards.
Result
1,500 sqm BSL-2/3 facility with AI-powered analysis and automated sampling. $5.4M investment positioning G42 at the forefront of preventative diagnostics across the MENA region.
