In partnership with three national health systems, LTS delivered advanced clinical laboratories designed for resilience, precision, and scale. These laboratories are engineered to operate under immense pressure while enabling rapid diagnostics for millions — supporting improved health outcomes on a national level.

LTS Intelligence Understanding Complex Needs, Planning for Integration By leading end-user workshops, mapping process flows, and forecasting environmental requirements, we uncovered overlapping needs, specialist constraints, and integration opportunities. This enabled the creation of a consolidated laboratory masterplan — optimising for performance, safety, and future scalability. Clarity and consolidation start with listening. We began with a comprehensive needs analysis across 13 departments — from Human Genetics to Reproductive Immunology. 1/4 LTS Advisory Feasibility, Consolidation, and Strategic Alignment We guided decisions on space planning, certification readiness, and service sharing to maximise operational value. Our advisory scope included input on tender evaluations for specialist packages — from furniture and dissection tables to autoclaves and bio-storage systems. Great labs are built on informed decisions. LTS advised on master planning, feasibility, and consolidation across fragmented spaces and legacy systems. 2/4 LTS Design From Cadaver Halls to BSL-3 Labs — All Designed for Purpose From dissection halls and cadaver processing to a purpose-built BSL-3 lab, each space was engineered for both scientific excellence and user comfort.

We developed custom downdraught dissection tables and designed using Revit to coordinate across all disciplines. Energy, airflow, infection control, and ergonomics were central.

LTS Performance Minimising Downtime, Maximising Long-Term Value We supported every snag, sign-off, and specialist installation — ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing research.

By embedding value engineering into both buildings, we helped the client reduce redundancy and extend the lifespan of infrastructure.
